One school of thought on the thawing of relations between the US and Cuba is that it might not be such a good thing for Cuban cigars after all, as the ‘legendary’ status enjoyed by this Caribbean island is about to be dismantled once the contraband excitement is removed and your average cigar smoker realises the sticks he/she’s been buying from the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Nicaragua are just as good if not better!
