Mild smoke Review by Darren

I ordered three tobaccos at the same time, No.7 ready rubbed, soft aromatic mixture and this. I've had to smoke it far more before reviewing than the other two 'cause I just cannot find a way to describe the flavour. I do like smoking OE but, for me, it has an indistinct flavouring and is quite a mild smoke. If you want an inoffensive flavouring and aroma this tobacco is perfect. I highly recommend it for anyone's first pipe tobacco as it is easy to get on with. (Posted on 30/03/2012)

From the first charring light to the bottom of the bowl ... and the next bowl, and the next ... in 3 different pipes, was a warm mixture of Virginias with a delightful & very subtle hint of ... I want to say chocolate, but it's not that ... I want to say buttery shortbread, but it's not that either. I'm going to say "try it" without hesitation. (Posted on 12/07/2011)

Along with Carey's Bruno Special I rate it along with the best pipe tobaccos I have ever smoked. They are really excellent for flavour and smoke really well in the briars I use here.
