In contrast to our other Askwiths this is a beautifully delicate, short smoke item.  Sympathetically sandblasted and displaying a finesse that must be the envy of some other pipe-makers, a detailed silver ring and ivory coloured mouthpiece finish the piece.

Chris Askwith is a UK based, artisan pipemaker with a loyal following. Using the finest briar from Mimmo Romeo in Italy each block is chosen specifically for each particular pipe. All pipes are completely handmade from start to finish with no frazing or copying machines used. Holes are carefully drilled to ensure accurate alignment of the airways, a nice open and easy draw and smooth transitions between all points to ensure a cool, dry smoke whilst the stems are handcut from quality rod stock using a range of different materials. Finally, the underside of the shank is stamped with the Askwith marque to guarantee the quality of the workmanship.
