As I welcome you to our Christmas 2009 edition of the Carey Smokeshop Catalogue I have taken the opportunity to look back over previous editions... Imagine my surprise therefore when I read my references to the questionable health of our banking institutions and of Royal Mail strikes, back in 2007 - some things may never change!
For all of us however it is hopefully now onward and upward. This Christmas will I trust be a more light-hearted affair, aided and abetted perhaps by a new pipe and some Private Blend Tobacco? Or maybe the time is right to properly display a favourite pipe, or pipes, on a quality stand? Cigars, or a new lighter… there are no end of treats available within these pages - I hope they bring a little Xmas cheer to one and all.
Also, a brief word regarding our availability over the Christmas period. Our offices will be closed from 3pm, 24th December until 9am, 4th January 2010. Only those orders received by Tuesday 15th December will be despatched in time for Christmas. Please therefore ensure you place orders as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Tobacco Club members please note: December 21st shipment will be despatched December 15th whilst December 28th shipment will be despatched 4th January 2010.
